The 19th Warsaw International Medical Congress will take place from 12th -14th April 2024 at the Didactic Center of Medical University of Warsaw, Poland.
The sessions (scientific contest) cover all biomedical fields. This means you can send in your abstract from all fields of medical research and case report sessions.
As a passive participant, you are allowed to attend all sessions, workshops, lectures and social programme. As an auditor, you are only allowed to attend sessions and lectures.
Active participants will enjoy all the privileges of passive visitors. In addition, they will present their scientific work and compete for prizes with other participants. Any active applicant who is not selected by our scientific jury is very welcome to participate passively or as an auditor.
You can register online at https://wimc.events/ for the conference either as an active participant or a passive participant. You don’t have to register if you’d like to be an auditor.
If you would like to present your research at the WIMC, submit your abstract by the 25th of February 2024.

Abstracts are accepted only in English version via electronic registration on the Conference Website.
The abstract should consist of 5 parts: introduction, aim of the study, materials and methods, results and conclusions.
The Case Report Session abstract should consist of 3 parts: background, case report, conclusions.
The abstract may not be longer than 2500 characters including spacebar signs. Title and internal headings are not included in the count.
The abstract is not allowed to contain grids, graphs, images nor pictures.

You can submit 3 abstracts and 2 case reports.
If you will be qualified for a regular oral presentation you have 7 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for discussion.
Presenter of a short oral presentation or case report has 4 minutes for the presentation and 2 minutes for any subsequent discussion.

Yes, you can, but you have to indicate that your results are preliminary and include what results are expected. Be aware that preliminary results ought to be of a superior quality and should be well presented in the abstract.
Please note that a scientific jury will choose participants from all of the submitted applications.

Only one author can be the presenting author and therefore only one abstract submission is required. Each abstract may be submitted only once.
Additional authors are regarded as co-authors.

If you come from another country, taking a plane may be the easiest way to get to Warsaw. Warsaw Chopin Airport, situated at just 7 km from the city centre has daily flights to and from the major cities in Europe and the world. The public transportation (i.e. buses and trains) will easily get you from the airport to the city centre.
No. We are afraid members of the Organizing Committee can’t pick you up from the airport. Details regarding transportation from the airport or bus/train station to the Didactics Centre can be easily found in the Logistics Guide, which will soon be available online.
